TUG Announces New Office

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 1, 2009 -- Technology Unlimited Group (TUG), an innovative system engineering and software development company, announces the opening of their Administrative Office located at 3252 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, CA 92110.

For Technology Unlimited Group, the new office will house both the Administrative staff as well as some of the engineering staff.

TUG’s company address has not changed. 

TUG a Team Member of Winning GDIT Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 16, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group is part of the General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) team that received a contract award for RF Communications Engineering Support. Under this contract TUG can provide support for the Radio Frequency (RF) Communications Division in the areas of management, engineering, test and evaluation, implementation/integration, and security.

TUG Awarded an SBIR Contract

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 15, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group was awarded a contract under the Navy Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. The proposal, submitted under SBIR Topic N08-198, is for Topology Management for Directional Antenna-based Networks. The objective of this SBIR effort is to research advanced approaches for a readily deployable Topology Management algorithm(s) which address the complexity of Mobile Ad Hoc Mesh Communication Networks constructed of directional antennas (Mobile-DA-Nets), and demonstrate its ability to optimize total network carrying capacity in a tactical ad hoc environment with unbalanced traffic. Under this effort, TUG will apply TUG’s Cluster-based Topology Optimization Algorithms (CTOA) and Information Exchange Protocol (IEP) in support of distributed asynchronous operation and optimization of network topology.

TUG Successfully Presented SAIL at JTRS Science and Technology Forum

SAN DIEGO, CA, September 17, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group presented its Software Analysis of Interface Compliance (SAIL) software test tool at the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Science and Technology Forum hosted by the JTRS Joint Program Executive Office and the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (CALIT). TUG is a Member of Winning Epsilon Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 30, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group is part of the Epsilon team that received a contract award for Life-Cycle Engineering and Technical Assistance for Tactical Data Link Systems. Under this contract TUG can provide support for the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Software Support Activity (SSA) for Tactical Data Links including the Navy’s Common Data Link (CDL), Link-16, and Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) related systems.

TUG is Part of Winning Conexus LLC Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 20, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group is part of the Conexus LLC team that received a contract award for Software Engineering and Cost Engineering in support of SPAWAR Systems Center – San Diego Codes 41410 and 41400. Under this contract TUG can provide software engineering, system engineering, configuration management, algorithm development, and cost/project engineering support. This contract includes support for the development of software to improve process automation for Navy enterprise operations.

TUG Wins a Navy SBIR Contract

SAN DIEGO, CA, March 19, 2008 -- Technology Unlimited Group has received a contract under the Navy Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The proposal, submitted under SBIR Topic N07-185, is for Software Analysis of Interface Compliance (SAIL) software. SAIL software will provide automated and repeatable compliance testing against a user defined reference interface. SAIL's ability to verify compliance across a multitude of different computing and operating environments is an area of growing cost and concern throughout private and public sectors among both consumer and commercial based companies.

TUG is Part of a Winning NGMS Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, March 13, 2008 -- TUG is part of the Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems (NGMS) team which was awarded a contract for the Next Generation Command and Control Processor (NGC2P). Under this contract, TUG may provide software development, engineering services, and information assurance.

TUG on Winning Booz Allen Hamilton Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 20, 2007 -- TUG is part of the Booz Allen Hamilton team which was just awarded a five-year Multi-Award IDIQ contract with Code 56300 (Formerly Code 273) SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC_SD). This contract will provide program research, development, test, evaluation, maintenance, modification and implementation using technologies that contribute to the responsiveness, capability, and survivability of DoD's tactical systems supporting Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Information Processing Systems.

TUG Receives Prime Contract for SSC-SD

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 17, 2007 -- TUG was awarded prime contract N66001-08-D-0047 with SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC_SD) Code 71300 (formerly Code 233). Through this contract TUG will provide support for system engineering and integration, software development and maintenance, test and evaluation and program support services for existing and future Navy Advanced Wideband Communications system, including Navy Common Data Link (CDL) systems.

TUG Team Member Certified as a CISSP Professional

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 4, 2007 -- Technology Unlimited Group is pleased to announce the certification of Mr. John Reddan as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) by (ISC)2. Becoming a CISSP professional adds to John Reddan’s list of existing accreditations and enhances TUG’s overall position to serve as a reviewing and/or certifying agent for Information Assurance (IA).

Passed CISSP exam on September 25, 2007.

TUG Pleased to Add CSIC to NAVSEA SeaPort-e Team

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 20, 2007 -- Communication & System Integration Corporation (CSIC) has been added as a team member to Technology Unlimited Group’s NAVSEA SeaPort-e contract. CSIC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, enhances TUG’s SeaPort-e team by providing installation and onsite technical support for existing and future C4ISR programs for SPAWAR and the US NAVY.

TUG Awarded NAVSEA SeaPort-e Prime Contract

SAN DIEGO, CA, May 23, 2007 -- Technology Unlimited Group (TUG) was awarded a prime contract under the SeaPort-e Rolling Admissions solicitation N00178-07-4000.
